INGREDIENTS
  • 200 grams Firm Tofu
  • 600 grams Cabbage
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 100 grams Mushroom
  • 1 Medium Onion (~ 100g)
  • 3 Spring Onions
  • 3 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Vegan Oyster Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Chop the tofu into tiny cubes and place them in a bowl.
    2. To the chopped tofu add 1 tbsp vegan oyster sauce, 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce, and 1 tsp chilli flakes.
    3. Mix well and set aside to marinate for 5 minutes.
    4. Finely chop the cabbage (you can use a food processor to get a rice-like texture).
    5. Finely chop the onion, bell pepper, mushroom, carrots, garlic, and spring onion.
    6. Set a large wok/ frying pan over high heat.
    7. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
    8. Once the oil is hot, add onion and garlic and stir fry until garlic is aromatic and onion is translucent.
    9. Add the marinated tofu and stir fry for 4-5 minutes.
    10. Add the carrot, bell pepper, and mushrooms along with 1/2 teaspoon salt and stir well.
    11. Once the vegetables are slightly cooked yet crunchy, add the cabbage followed by 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder.
    12. Stir continuously until the cabbage is cooked through.
    13. Turn off the stove, garnish with spring onion and serve immediately.
