INGREDIENTS
    For the Stir Fry
  • 200 grams Firm Tofu
  • 150 grams Broccolli florets
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Dried Red Chilli
  • 1 cup Thai Basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Corn Starch
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
  • For the Sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoon Vegetarian Oyster Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper Powder (or to taste)
INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Peel and chop garlic and set aside.
    2. Chop the broccoli into bit-sized pieces, blanch them in hot water for 2 minutes, and set them aside.
    3. Dry the Tofu with a kitchen towel and cut them into small bite-sized cubes.
    4. In a bowl add the Tofu, 1 tablespoon corn starch, and pepper powder and mix well.
    5. In a pan over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of oil, once the oil is hot add the tofu in a single layer and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy.
    6. Remove the Tofu from the pan and set them aside.
    7. In the same pan, add garlic and chili flakes to the leftover oil.
    8. Saute for 30 seconds to a minute until aromatic.
    9. Add the Tofu and Broccoli and stir well.
    10. Add the sauce mixture and stir continuously until the sauce is absorbed.
    11. Add the Thai basil leaves stir well and turn off the heat.
    12. Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.
