Thai Basil Tofu and Broccoli

INSTRUCTIONS

- Peel and chop garlic and set aside.
- Chop the broccoli into bit-sized pieces, blanch them in hot water for 2 minutes, and set them aside.
- Dry the Tofu with a kitchen towel and cut them into small bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl add the Tofu, 1 tablespoon corn starch, and pepper powder and mix well.
- In a pan over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of oil, once the oil is hot add the tofu in a single layer and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy.
- Remove the Tofu from the pan and set them aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and chili flakes to the leftover oil.
- Saute for 30 seconds to a minute until aromatic.
- Add the Tofu and Broccoli and stir well.
- Add the sauce mixture and stir continuously until the sauce is absorbed.
- Add the Thai basil leaves stir well and turn off the heat.
- Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.
